The Kansas City Chiefs and local clothing brand Pancho's Blanket are teaming up to release a limited run of Chiefs-specific apparel.
Made possible through the NFL's local merchandise collaboration initiative, Pancho's Blanket was founded by brothers Jonathan and Joseph, who grew up in Tlaxcala, Mexico, and are passionate about giving back to the community that shaped them. As missionary kids, the brothers grew up with service as a significant part of their lives. The pair is excited to team up with the Chiefs while honoring their heritage.
"Our goal wasn't to reinvent what makes the Chiefs iconic; it was to honor the legacy while expressing it through hand-crafted textiles and elevated designs," co-founder Joseph Garvey said in a statement.
This
limited run will officially be available for purchase this Sunday, October 18, at the Pancho's Blanket storefront, located at The Bauer in downtown Kansas City; online on the Pancho's Blanket official website at www.panchosblanket.com; in person at the Chiefs Pro Shop at Arrowhead Stadium; and online at shop.chiefs.com and through Fanatics at www.fanatics.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs.
