The Kansas City Chiefs may have to face the Denver Broncos on 'Monday Night Football' without star pass rusher Chris Jones.
Chiefs beat writer Pete Sweeney of the Kansas City Star reported that Jones was in attendance at practice on Saturday, September 12, but pointed out that the veteran defensive lineman only participated in warm-ups and could be seen wearing a compression sleeve on his left calf.
Sweeney's report comes after Jones was a limited participant in the Chiefs' workouts on Friday, and may be a sign that the former Mississippi State Bulldog is trending in the wrong direction ahead of Kansas City's rivalry matchup against the Broncos.
Chris Jones was out at practice Saturday but without a helmet. He had a compression sleeve on his left
calf. He was going through warmups, but it looked to me like that will be the extent of it today. Andy Reid will speak at 1 p.m. for greater clarity.

At the time of writing, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid still hasn't revealed whether Jones should be expected to miss Kansas City's home opener on 'Monday Night Football,' or if the beloved sack-master was limited at practice merely out of an abundance of caution.
