The ongoing friendly rivalry between Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby added another exciting chapter last Sunday.
During the recent episode of his “The Rush with Maxx Crosby” podcast. The multiple-time Pro Bowl pass rusher opened up about Patrick Mahomes’ unique reaction to getting hit during games. After his co-host asked whether Mahomes makes a moaning sound, Crosby confirmed it.
“There’s no other word, so you can’t really, Pause,” said Crosby, “But it was a great battle.”
“It’s just funny, every time I hit him, he rolls over, and then he just peeks at me,” Crosby said. “It’s always my face, and I’m just staring at him. But it’s respect, bro. He’s the best quarterback of our generation,
you know what I mean?”
The Chiefs were victorious in the team’s thrilling Week 4 matchup in Las Vegas. Both teams were undefeated at that point, and Kansas City’s win could affect playoff positioning later in the season.
Crosby has had plenty of success against Mahomes, with 6.5 sacks and 49 quarterback pressures in his career.
