Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was officially activated by the San Francisco 49ers ahead of the California-based franchise's Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Robinson was a fourth-round pick of the Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft and played in Kansas City for six years. In 2022, Robinson joined the Raiders and Baltimore Ravens before signing with the Los Angeles Rams, for whom he played in 2023 and 2024.
Last season, Robinson caught on with the 49ers and achieved modest production in a depth role with San Francisco's offense.
The former Florida Gator suffered a lower-body injury early in the 2026 regular season, which necessitated a stint on the 49ers' injured reserve list.

While fans shouldn't expect Robinson to be a stat-sheet stuffer in his first game back in action with San Francisco, the Super Bowl LIV champion's return to the field could turn into a more notable development if injuries continue to plague the 49ers late in the regular season.
