According to KCTV 5, star wide receiver Rashee Rice filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Wednesday, November 4, ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 9 matchup against the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium.
Rice, who joined the Chiefs as a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is among Kansas City's most reliable pass-catchers and one of Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets on game day.
A former SMU Mustang, Rice was a member of the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII roster and holds the NFL record for most postseason receptions by a rookie with 26, a mark he set in 2023.
