Former Denver Broncos defensive back Justin Simmons — a long-time foe of the Chiefs who is now an analyst for CBS — sounded off on Kansas City's hot start after its latest triumph against Indianapolis.
In his analysis, Simmons pointed to the Chiefs' championship experience as a key reason for Kansas City's recent success, and suggested that the team is officially in rhythm after defeating the Colts on 'Sunday Night Football':

With a 2-0 record and momentum on their side, the Chiefs will turn their attention to a Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on September 27, which will afford Kansas City an early opportunity to set itself apart in the AFC playoff picture early in the 2026 regular season.
