Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III spoke with reporters on Friday. He discussed building a Super Bowl-caliber bond in the locker room after experiencing the moment last season with the Seattle Seahawks.
"I feel like if you want to win Super Bowls or go to championships and everything, you gotta have a tight-knit group and a brotherhood," said Walker. "So I feel like you built that relationship throughout OTA training camp and throughout the season through the things you go through."
Walker led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl title, and he claimed MVP honors in the game. He focuses on building the team's chemistry as the season rolls on.
"I feel like it's not just winning, but adversity. That game we just had was a hard-fought game,"
said Walker. "Everything didn't go our way, but we rallied together, and we ended up coming out with a win."
Walker has recorded 47 carries for 290 yards and 1 touchdown, with 9 receptions for 79 yards and 1 touchdown through 2 games.
