Surtain started all 14 games he played for the Broncos in 2025, finishing with 47 tackles, one interception, and 12 passes defended. He was selected to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl despite missing three games due to injury.
Surtain and the AFC West rival Broncos will play the Chiefs twice in the 2026 season.
They will play in Week 1 on Monday Night Football, September 14, at Arrowhead Stadium, and in Week 8, on November 1, at Empower Field at Mile High.
