This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Reid discussed his partnership with Kraft Singles for National Cheeseburger Day, turning his famous phrases into a treat and helping America make every burger a cheeseburger with free Kraft Singles. He also shared the Chiefs' mindset heading into the 2026 season after last year's disappointment.
"A match made in heaven. I mean, they knew I love cheeseburgers, and I do, and I actually love Kraft Singles. I I've got a bunch of grandkids, and I make these during the summer. I'll have them all over and cook up these cheeseburgers, and we go through a lot of Kraft Singles," said Reid. "So they didn't know that, but that's when
they reached out. I'm going all right. We've got National Cheeseburger Day coming up here. They mentioned it to me, want to promote it, and would love for me to jump on board. I'm going; well, this is easy. I mean, this is an easy call."

Reid and the Chiefs begin the 2026 regular season on Monday Night Football for Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. The goal is to erase last year's disappointment and return to the top of the division, as Reid explained after training camp.
"They were challenged with a tough camp, and they knew that coming in. I love the way they came back. They all admitted they needed to do something better in one phase of their game. Coaches were doing the same thing, and I'm part of that. I could have done a better job too, obviously. So we're all in that thing, and as long as you can admit that," said Reid, "Now you got a chance to go forward, and then you put that thing in the past. You've learned from it. Now let's move forward, do something positive, and build something. The veterans were great with that. I've got a good nucleus of those guys on board here on the team. So they really jumped on that and have really moved forward. So it's been good."
To kick off a season-long celebration of cheeseburgers and tailgates, Coach Reid is treating America to FREE Kraft Singles, helping make every burger a cheeseburger.
