The Kansas City Chiefs placed star defensive back L'Jarius Sneed on their injured reserve list on October 31.
Sneed, who signed with the Chiefs as a free agent earlier this year, started his career in Kansas City as a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and has played a major role in Steve Spagnuolo's defense this season.
This week, Sneed was a non-participant in the Chiefs' Wednesday practice session for reasons that were not injury-related before returning to workouts in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday.
Kansas City officially announced its decision to place Sneed on its injured reserve list in a post to the Chiefs' official Twitter account:

With Sneed out of its starting lineup, Kansas City's coaching staff will rely on veteran defensive back Kristian Fulton when the Chiefs face off against the Denver Broncos in a highly anticipated Week 8 AFC West showdown on November 1.
