The Kansas City Chiefs will get an excellent look at rookie quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in their preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks this evening.
Nussmeier, who joined Kansas City as the No. 249 pick in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft, has impressed fans and coaches alike in his first two preseason appearances and is now set to be under center as the Chiefs' starting signal-caller in all four quarters against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

While it remains to be seen if Nussmeier will earn the coveted spot behind
Patrick Mahomes on Kansas City's depth chart, his recent performances seem to have given him an edge over veteran quarterback Justin Fields, who joined the Chiefs as a free agent earlier this year.
