NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed his expectations for the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the league's November 10 trade deadline.
Kansas City is on a two-game skid after losses to the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos in Weeks 7 and 8, respectively.
Andy Reid's offense got off to a hot start early in the 2026 NFL regular season with the help of Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III, but the Chiefs' underperforming receiving corps has caused the unit to flounder in recent games.
Take a look at what Schefter thinks Kansas City's strategy will be at the trade deadline in this video, which was posted to Twitter by the official account of ESPN's 'Get Up':
“I think it would be a surprise if [the Chiefs] didn’t make some type of deal for some receiver
before next Tuesday's trade deadline.” —@AdamSchefter on what he believes the Kansas City Chiefs will do heading into the trade deadline. pic.twitter.com/MopDZBiFru

While a move to add a wide receiver would undoubtedly benefit the Chiefs in their pursuit of another Super Bowl victory, Kansas City's front office only has about $1,250,000 in available salary cap space, so general manager Brett Veach will have to get creative with the team's finances if he intends to execute a blockbuster trade.
