The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers battled under the lights on Saturday night for preseason Week 2. A physical contest that gave some starters more playing time on both sides of the ball for Kansas City.
Quarterbacks Justin Fields and Garrett Nussmeier had extended stints with mixed results in moving the ball downfield. Jalen Royals had a strong effort along with tight end Jake Briningstool. Kenneth Walker had his first carries with the Chiefs while Travis Kelce played a few snaps to begin the game.
The defense was active and effective, with a pass rush from Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who secured a bone-crushing sack in the first half. Jaden Hicks continues to play well through two preseason games with a sack and forced fumble on Saturday.
