The Kansas City Chiefs activated linebacker Cole Christiansen and defensive lineman Tyreke Smith from their practice squad on September 26.
This key roster move comes just a day before Kansas City's Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins and could signal that Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has something special in store for the AFC showdown.
Christiansen is a seasoned veteran who was on Kansas City's Super Bowl LVII and LVIII rosters. Smith signed with the Chiefs in 2025 and began his professional career as a fifth-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2022 NFL Draft.
