Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Nohl Williams spoke with reporters on Friday. He reflected on his development since last year's rookie season.
"Yeah, for sure, more comfortable (it's been) 12 months now," said Williams. "I was a fresh rookie, and now I've got more games under my belt, and I'm getting more comfortable every day, every year. Still got to climb; there's still gonna be ups and downs. I plan on getting better and better in my craft."
Williams finished his rookie season last year with 48 total tackles and seven pass deflections in 17 games. He played more late in the 2025 campaign after the Chiefs were ruled out of playoff contention.
"Probably late last season started slowing down for me," said Williams, "and then just throughout
the offseason, going against our offense and OTAs and training camp, that's when things started slowing down for me for sure."
Through two games this season and has recorded 8 total tackles, 1 sack, and 2 passes defended.
