The Kansas City Chiefs are reuniting with a former contributor to a Super Bowl title with the reported addition of a veteran defensive lineman.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs have agreed to terms with defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah on a one-year deal. Ogbah knows defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's scheme from his brief first tenure with the Chiefs in 2019. His season was cut short by a torn pectoral, but Kansas City still prevailed in Super Bowl LIV.

The 32-year-old has a career total of 48 sacks through 136 games, securing nine forced fumbles and two
interceptions. Aside from his lone season with the Chiefs, Ogbah has spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and, last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Chiefs' defensive line adds a familiar face that not only understands the system but can play several roles. Ogbah's versatility in playing inside or on the edge will push others for the rest of the camp and through the preseason games.
In the 2025 season, Ogbah played 13 games, starting 3 and securing 15 total tackles, .5 sacks, and a fumble recovery.
