Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray recently spoke with reporters. He described the locker room environment so far this season as the team heads into an early bye week after Sunday's battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.
"Yeah, I love these guys. It's a great locker room. I've got a lot of friends in that locker room, guys that are going to be lifelong friends of mine," said Gray. "So, it's always great when you get to come to work and enjoy and love what you do, and I do that every single day, and I've been blessed doing that."
The Chiefs have meshed a group of veterans and rookies quickly this season within head coach Andy Reid's system.
"So really just a shout-out to those guys," said Gray, "We enjoy our time together, but when it's time to be
serious and practice and meetings and stuff like that, those guys are locked in. So, it's a great environment and super blessed to be a part of it."
Gray has 4 receptions for 44 receiving yards through 3 games this season. The reliable tight end should see more opportunities today against the longtime AFC West rival Raiders, who are looking to remain undefeated.
