The Kansas City Chiefs travel to face the Denver Broncos in Week 8 with a chance to start a new winning streak and remain undefeated atop the AFC West. The league released this week's announcer assignments, with the game set for a national broadcast and high-profile treatment on Sunday.
The CBS Sports broadcast team of Jim Nantz, JJ Watt, and Tracy Wolfson will call the Chiefs vs. Broncos game on Sunday at 3:25 pm CT. CBS has assigned its No. 1 broadcast team to this highly anticipated AFC West battle.
Watt recently signed a multi-year contract extension with CBS Sports to become the network's permanent lead NFL game analyst. This Sunday's game marks the second time the network's top announcer team has covered a Chiefs game this season.
The Chiefs
are seeking the regular-season sweep of the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High. The Week 1 victory at Arrowhead Stadium set the tone for this season, and a road win will go a long way toward washing away last Sunday's disappointing loss.
