The Kansas City Chiefs have dominated EA Sports' Madden NFL franchise for the better part of a decade, but will see their status decline in 2026 after missing the playoffs last season.
In the latest release of the beloved American football title, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earned an overall grade of 93 overall, demonstrating just how far the experts at EA Sports believe Kansas City has fallen off since its disastrous 2025 campaign.
Star center Creed Humphrey will be the Chiefs' top player in Madden NFL 27 with a 95 overall grade, which will make him one of the most coveted offensive linemen in the game.

The rest of Kansas City's top-five in Madden 27 was rounded
out by legendary tight end Travis Kelce (91), veteran guard Trey Smith (91) and newly-acquired Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III (90).
While these grades may seem underwhelming to fans who have grown accustomed to overpowered Chiefs rosters, Madden typically updates its ratings throughout the regular season, so these initial grades are likely to change in the coming months.
