Former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal was carted off the field at Northwest Stadium after sustaining a serious injury during the Washington Commanders' Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Chenal began his professional career as a third-round pick of the Chiefs in the 2022 NFL Draft and was a member of Kansas City's Super Bowl LVII and LVIII rosters.
The former Wisconsin Badger signed with the Commanders earlier this year after the Chiefs declined to re-sign him after their disastrous 2025 campaign.
While the exact nature of Chenal's injury is unknown, it is believed that he injured his neck:
