This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Reid discussed his partnership with Kraft Singles for National Cheeseburger Day, turning his famous phrases into a treat and helping America make every burger a cheeseburger with free Kraft Singles. He discussed his expectations for the Chiefs' 2026 rookie class.
"They've (Kraft Singles) got an interaction with the fans, where the fans can call in and guess some things that I think about cheeseburgers, and they can either go for it," said Reid, "or they can call an audible, and they've got a .com number that they can dial into, so they can reach out for that, and it just seemed right. It's a kind of a healthy deal all the way
around."

The Chiefs added many new rookies through the draft and free agency to make up this season's active 53-man roster. Reid has praised this year's group's development in training camp and preseason.
"Brett Veach gets the credit for that. He went out, got all these guys, drafted, moved up in the draft, maneuvered around, and brought in some. They look like they're really going to help us out, and you need that. You need that rookie class with the salary cap the way it is and everything. You've got to make sure those young guys are good and productive," said Reid. "I love how much they've grown during camp. Every day, something positive seemed to show up in their game, and they were willing to work on their weaknesses. I love that part, as opposed to, "There's a way you can go, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it." Well, do you really have it? And these guys just came in and go, "Okay, teach me. I want to learn. I sure appreciate that part of it, as my coaches did."
To kick off a season-long celebration of cheeseburgers and tailgates, Coach Reid is treating America to FREE Kraft Singles, helping make every burger a cheeseburger. Fans can visit TheSingleGreatestCall.com, and each week, they can visit to either GO FOR IT or CALL AN AUDIBLE on Coach Reid’s picks, with opportunities to score free Kraft Singles and a chance to unlock major rewards, including a lifetime supply of Kraft Singles and tickets to Super Bowl LXI.
