Head coach Andy Reid gave a brief update on Mansoor Delane's injury status after the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 1 victory over the Denver Broncos on 'Monday Night Football.'
"As far as the injuries go, (CB Mansoor) Delane hurt his shoulder," Reid told the media after Kansas City's win in primetime. "We’re just going to see where that goes from here."
Delane exited Monday's matchup after recording his first career interception on the game's first drive.
On Tuesday, news broke that Delane is expected to miss "minimal" time due to his shoulder injury, which is cause for optimism among Chiefs fans.
