The Kansas City Chiefs aimed to extend their winning streak and start the season 3-0 on the road against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 3. The day's game centered on the Chiefs staying focused against a winless team and ignoring the favored odds in what could have been a trap game.
The Chiefs' offense's key play came on the first drive, when Patrick Mahomes connected with Travis Kelce for a 48-yard gain. Kenneth Walker was an elite option out of the backfield again, reaching the end zone early in the game. Receivers Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Tyquan Thornton had multiple catches as the offense showed plenty of variety.
Defensively, rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane stood out, contributing on many stops. Nick Bolton was
consistent and clutch in every way the unit needed to stall Dolphins drives. L'Jarius Sneed struggled at times but made up for it with a first-half forced fumble, halting Miami's momentum. George Karlaftis secured his first career interception.

Stock Up: Kenneth Walker III
The hot start continues for Walker, who continues to terrorize opposing defenses since joining the Chiefs. He finished with 70 yards rushing, plus 2 catches for 3 yards and a touchdown.
Stock Up: Mansoor Delane
After missing last week's game due to injury, Delane bounced back tremendously with a star effort in the secondary. He led the team in tackles, finishing with 10 and staying active on most plays.
Stock Up: Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes was solid in moving the ball downfield, and his lone interception came off a receiver deflection. He finished the game with 246 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception.
Stock Down: Rashee Rice
The talented receiver had multiple catches but was responsible for a first-half interception when a Mahomes pass bounced out of his hands to a Dolphins player; aside from the turnover, Rice was featured often in the second half.
