Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones spoke with reporters on Thursday. He commented on the Los Angeles Chargers' winless start.
"The Chargers have had a lot of close games. They've been up in a lot of games, and mishaps towards the end of the game kind of cost them, but they've been up a lot of games," said Jones. "They've created a lot of turnovers. Watch the Buffalo Bills game. I think like three to five turnovers they created just to finish the game. So definitely a team that's capable of challenging us on both sides of the ball."
The Chargers offense has averaged just 16.8 points per game, the third-lowest mark in the NFL, ahead of only the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans. Quarterback Justin Herbert has struggled behind a poor
offensive line, leading the NFL with 98 QB hits. He's also struggled to hold onto the ball, with 7 interceptions and 6 fumbles in five games.
The Chiefs' defensive line has struggled to get sacks and will look to take advantage of the struggling Chargers on Sunday.
