The Browns had a lot to celebrate in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It marked their first win of the season, Todd Monken's first NFL win as head coach, and the first time one of their players was honored by the NFL.
Kicker Andre Szmyt was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the Bucs in Week 2. In a game the Browns won 23 to 19, the kicking performance of Szmyt proved to be the ultimate difference-maker.
He scored 11 of the Browns' 23 points on three made field goals from the distances of 50 yards and 34 yards, twice. He also added two extra points.

Cleveland Browns media pointed out that Szmyt has
converted on his last 18 field goals going back to last season.
