The Cleveland Browns are not having the opening week to the 2026 season that they expected. With the team down 17-0 in the middle of the second quarter, they took another hit to their spirits.
Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson will miss the remainder of the game with a knee injury. He suffered it in the first quarter, came back out in the second to warm up on the sidelines, but ultimately returned to the locker room and was ruled out.
The Browns will now rely on Quinshon Judkins and Raheim Sanders as their only active running backs. Head coach and playcaller Todd Monken has hinted at using KC Concepcion in unique ways out of the backfield, so perhaps that is the perfect time to do that.
