The Cleveland Browns are enjoying their 3-1 record through four weeks as they sit atop the AFC North. One key reason they are doing so well is Deshaun Watson's play. While he has not had a complete game yet, he is playing well enough for them to be where they are.
Beyond Watson, the offense as a whole had an excellent showing in the first half. In fact, as ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi recently pointed out, it was so good they even achieved something they hadn't done in nearly two years. In his post-game recap, he shared a stat that fans should know, and it centered on the offense.
"The Browns scored 21 points in the first half, their most in any half of a game since Week 8 of the 2024 season, when Cleveland scored 23 points against the Baltimore Ravens
in the second half."
Sadly for them and the fans, the team scored just six points in the second half. They cooled off so badly that, had they not been that explosive in the first half, we would be discussing a .500 football team.
