The Cleveland Browns have a roster that doesn't get much love in the NFL or from analysts. However, some position groups and players deserve praise, while others aren't in the best position to ask for it.
So when PFF ranked the top cornerbacks ahead of the 2026 season, we wanted to see where they land. The team has deep talent at top cornerback with both Tyson Campbell and Denzel Ward.
Campbell wasn't ranked, but Ward was, in the bottom half at 20 overall.
They write, "Ward’s production saw a bit of a dropoff in 2025 after he led the NFL with 17 pass breakups in 2024. He collected just one interception and four pass breakups last season, but Ward has an excellent track record that could foreshadow a bounceback. He has long been up to the task of covering
the NFL’s top wide receivers."
Ward at one time was considered one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. With a strong 2026 in which he takes more leadership on defense, he could find himself in the top 10 yet again.
