The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 7 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.
CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the Browns going with Notre Dame defender Leonard Moore. He is among the best cornerback prospects to come out in recent years. Many consider him to up there with the likes of Sauce Gardner, Derek Stingley, and Patrick Surtain II.
Wilson explains the Moore pick, writing, "If you're looking for holes in Moore's
game, well, good luck to you. He's a special talent and reminds me of Patrick Surtain II."
With the Browns' second pick in the mock draft, they landed Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin to allow them to get help on both sides of the ball. All in all, a productive mock draft, but the real prize is Moore.
