Expectations for the Cleveland Browns were very low when the season started, with most sportsbooks setting their over/under on win total this year at 5.5 wins. The team already has five wins with 10 games remaining and has found a way week after week to pull off come-from-behind wins; this team is never out of it, even when they face an early deficit, as they did against the Tennessee Titans.
In the piece laying out their power rankings, they also answered the question of what has been their biggest addition in 2026. The answer for ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi was head coach Todd Monken, writing, "The first-year coach has the Browns at 5-2 for the second time since the franchise returned to Cleveland in 1999. Quarterback Deshaun Watson is playing his best
football with the Browns, and the NFL's second-youngest team has taken on Monken's ethos as a tough, resilient bunch with a league-high five winning drives."
After pulling off their fifth win, in the latest NFL power rankings from ESPN, the Browns find themselves moving up from 19th to 16th, entering the top half of the league with a good chance to make a move over the next couple of weeks.
