The Cleveland Browns are 1-1, but they still aren't expected to produce much in the win column in 2026. They are in a rebuild mode, have been for some time, but what we are seeing from this rookie class and other young players has some people thinking this team could eventually turn a corner with its corps.
Because of the rookie stepping up, especially at wide receiver, Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox is hinting that it would make sense for the Browns to explore a trade of Tyson Campbell.
He writes, "The Browns should be looking to chase 2027 draft capital in their pursuit of a quality quarterback. Starting corner Tyson Campbell could potentially bring some. He started 12 games for Cleveland last season and allowed an opposing passer rating
of just 84.8 in coverage. Campbell is also just 26 years old and under contract through 2028. With an annual salary of $19.1 million, he's on the pricier side, but he should interest contenders who need a cornerback."
The Browns acquired Campbell just last year when they had a pick swap and sent Greg Newsome II to the Jaguars as well. He projects they could get a conditional third round pick back for Campbell and hints that perhaps the Dallas Cowboys are the team to give them that.
