The Cleveland Browns did the unthinkable in Week 2 and overcame the odds to defeat the Bucs on the road. They enter their home opener at 1-1, and head coach Todd Monken records his first win as an NFL head coach.
Beyond Monken, though, this was a massive game in the career of Deshaun Watson. The veteran quarterback secured his second win for the Browns in the last three seasons. After such a major win early in the year, Watson spoke about the importance of it all and how things played out behind the scenes.
He explained, "I leave my journey in God's hands, keep working hard and keep pushing forward, and let the outcome be the outcome. . .I told Monk at halftime just to trust me with the ball in my hands and let me go out there and operate. Let
him scheme it up, call the plays, and I'm going to trust his mindset. Let's go execute."

The Bucs' defense did Watson a lot of favors, but he still managed things well enough to navigate it well enough and didn't turn the ball over. Most games, pairing that with the defense will be enough. However, in Week 3, he may need to make some plays, and that is where the next challenge will come for him in that degree.
