The Cleveland Browns have had plenty of time this offseason to reflect on what they need to do in 2026. With a new coaching staff and an overhauled roster, Week 1 will speak volumes about what they'll be like.
ESPN also did one last bit of reflection when they tasked the beat writers for their respective teams with answering a few final questions about their teams. However, one question had to go to ESPN research. In doing so, they revealed a rather disappointing stat related to quarterback Deshaun Watson.
They explained, "The last time Watson played in 2024, he had a QBR of 21, the lowest in the league (minimum five starts). However, the quarterbacks with the two lowest QBRs from last season (minimum five starts) were also on the Browns in Sanders
(18.9) and Dillon Gabriel (31.4)."
To the further disappointment of Browns fans everywhere, these are three of the four quarterback options in 2026. The team is seemingly going to draft a replacement in 2027, but it is going to be a long 234 days until the first round of the next annual league selection meeting takes place.
