It hasn't always been pretty, but the Cleveland Browns are 2-1 to begin the year. They came from behind yesterday, defeating the Carolina Panthers 21-18, as Deshaun Watson connected with Harold Fannin Jr. on a 14-yard touchdown with 1:48 left in the fourth quarter. The stadium was rocking at the end yesterday, and Todd Monken was relieved to hear cheers.
While speaking to the media following yesterday's win, Monken commented on hearing all the cheers for the offense instead of the boos like before:

With all due respect to Monken, the NFL is often joked about as standing for Not For Long, as things can change on a dime. This offense
ranks 30th in the NFL in yards per game, and while Cleveland may be 2-1, it isn't because of that side of the ball. If this lackluster play keeps up, those cheers will revert to boos quickly, as we know that Cleveland has some of the most passionate fans in the NFL.
