The Cleveland Browns added another stop this weekend with a magical late-game win, capped by a game-winning drive and a field goal to seal a 27-24 win over the Titans. Quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for his first 300-yard passing game since the 2020 season with the Houston Texans. It was the most complete game he has played as a member of the Browns, and the offense was humming.
It was the fifth game-winning drive of the season for Watson, who is now just the third quarterback since the 1970 merger to have five game-winning drives in each of his team's first five wins of the season. The other two who did it were Matthew Stafford in 2016 and Troy Aikman in 1990.
If Watson can play like this more consistently and the run game can get going as
it did against the Titans, the Browns offense can be a competent unit, and they can make a run at the playoffs.
Up next, they are heading to Pittsburgh for a rematch with the Steelers, with first place in the division on the line.
