The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 8 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.
Bleacher Report's Scouting Department recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going with a new quarterback in Oregon's Dante Moore with their top pick in the class.
They explain the Moore pick, writing, "The Cleveland Browns' decision to make Deshaun Watson their long-term quarterback has not produced the results the franchise hoped for. Granted, Shedeur Sanders
must prove himself as well. In the end, the Browns are likely looking for another quarterback next April, with Oregon's Dante Moore arguably the best fit for the franchise's needs."
With the team's second first-round pick, they land Miami defensive lineman Ahmad Moten. The Hurricane defender is set to be the monster in the middle of their defense, and it should have him poised to be a top pick and a game-wrecker in the NFL when he enters the league.
