The Cleveland Browns have once again led the way in defense in 2026. One of the main reasons they have enjoyed so much success this season is Mike Hall Jr.'s play. 10 days ago, in their Week 4 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hall was injured, and his status for Week 5 was up in the air.
On Sunday morning, it officially came down that Hall was inactive for the team.
Stepping up in his place will be Adin Huntington, who had a sack in Week 4, as well as Sam Williams. The young defenders have had their moments with the Browns in 2026, but he will be stepping into a much larger role in Week 5 against a tough Jets offense.
And while the Browns are without Hall on their defensive front, they will not be facing the Jets' star running back, as he was
ruled out as well.
