The Cleveland Browns are 2-1 and are enjoying excellent play from a handful of players. One player is rising above the rest through three weeks, however, and it is Mason Graham.
The top pick of the Browns draft class in the 2025 NFL Draft is looking the part a year later. He has shown tremendous strides, and head coach Todd Monken is noticing it while also reminding fans good things take time.
Monken shared, "We are in the business of wanting success so early. . .So, when you have a young player like Mason (Graham), and he comes in a year ago, and we want it now, we want everything now. We want our players to be great. From the moment they get here, we want to be great on every offense, defense, and special teams from the moment you get here.
And we're always under construction. . .I see with a lot of our players, that they are gonna continue to grow. He is one of those. And we're gonna be less flashy and more consistent."

We wrote yesterday about Graham's performance, saying, "Mason Graham is playing at an All-Pro level through three weeks of the season. He has four sacks in three games after securing two on Sunday against the Panthers. On top of that, he is also generating consistent pressure and it is allowing this defense to get back to the sort of play they enjoyed with Myles Garrett and Jim Schwartz directing it."
No one could have predicted the start to the season that Graham is enjoying. The Browns will need the play he has shown through the first three weeks on Thursday as they look to cement themselves atop the AFC North with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
