The Browns' offense is not loaded with the most promising fantasy assets. The unit is young and still developing, but the quarterback play holds most of it back to an extent.
During the 2026 season here on Browns Wire, we will review all fantasy-relevant skill players for the team and share whether they are worth a start.
Each position has players that can help or hurt your fantasy team, so this will be a form of start or sit. In this piece, we will be looking at whether fantasy players should start Deshaun Watson in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
This season, Caleb Williams had 37.3 fantasy points in Week 1 against them, and Cooper Rush scored just 5.4. That's a drastic difference, but so is the talent between them. For Watson, to be fair,
he ranks closer to Rush in terms of potential production, so it could lead to him scoring somewhere in the teens.
He could be worth a play in deeper leagues or 2QB leagues, but we need further proof that last week wasn't a flash in the pan.
