The second official injury report of Week 1 brought bad news for the Cleveland Browns as they prepare to travel to Jacksonville.
The team's initial clean bill of health didn't last long, with a starter along the offensive line trending in the wrong direction.
Here is Thursday's full practice breakdown.
Did not participate
- Right Guard Teven Jenkins (Back)
That early streak of perfect practice attendance didn't last long. Starting right guard Teven Jenkins was downgraded to "Did not participate" after being limited on Wednesday with a back injury.
Given that the issue popped up during practice on Wednesday, his complete absence on Thursday is a major red flag for his availability against the Jaguars. If Jenkins is ruled out, preseason standout Austin Barber is the next man up.
Limited
practice
- Center Parker Brailsford (Thumb)
- Defensive Tackle Maliek Collins (Quad)
Both Parker Brailsford and Maliek Collins remained limited for a second consecutive day.
Brailsford continues to work through a thumb issue as he prepares for his backup role behind Elgton Jenkins. Meanwhile, the coaching staff continues to manage Collins' workload cautiously as the impactful pass rusher works his way back from last season's severe quad tear.
Full participation
- Linebacker Carson Schwesinger (Shoulder)
Reigning Rookie Defensive Player of the Year Carson Schwesinger was once again a full participant despite his shoulder.
After missing most of training camp, back-to-back full sessions clear any lingering doubts about his readiness to lead the linebacker corps in Jacksonville.
