The Browns' offense is not loaded with the most promising fantasy assets. The unit is young and still developing, but the quarterback play holds most of it back to an extent.
During the 2026 season here on Browns Wire, we will review all fantasy-relevant skill players for the team and share whether they are worth a start.
Each position has players that can help or hurt your fantasy team, so this will be a form of start or sit. In this piece, we will be looking at quarterback Deshaun Watson and whether he is worth plugging in after an awful Week 1 performance against the Jaguars.
At this rate, we don't know when the plug is going to be pulled on Watson as a starter. Could it come in Week 2 against a tough Bucs defense? Perhaps, but fantasy players
cannot and should not play someone with that type of volatility unless they have to.
Because of that, we are saying to avoid Deshaun Watson in nearly every league format in Week 2, except for 2QB leagues where he is necessary.
