When the news broke of the Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams trade, the entire landscape of the NFL had shifted. The Rams were already a favorite to win the Super Bowl, but acquiring a player like Garrett catapulted them into another tier. This was compounded even further upon hearing that Aaron Donald would come out of retirement for the 2026 season, forming an unstoppable duo.

How this made the final draft of his article and was approved by editors makes you wonder. Listing a duo of the caliber of Darnold and Garrett as one
of the biggest disappointments, when they have yet to play a down in the NFL, seems dramatic and clickbait-esque.
Let someone, or even a pairing of players, get a few games under their belt before labeling them a disappointment. It makes you wonder if the tune will change if they start to play together and light the world on fire. My guess is not.
