At the start of the year, many believed the Cleveland Browns would be among the worst teams in the NFL. Many expected them to be near the top of the 2027 NFL Draft, largely because of their quarterback play. However, it is because of the quarterback play that they are sitting at 3-1. Because of this, could the Browns be the ones trading away a quarterback?
ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano hinted at the idea of Shedeur Sanders being shipped out of Cleveland before the trade deadline on November 10th:
“Shedeur Sanders could be interesting to teams looking for a developmental QB who needs a change of scenery”
Trading Sanders makes sense if the franchise believes that Watson can take them where they want to go. What they could get in return is anyone's
guess, but there would likely be multiple suitors interested in bringing the former Pro Bowl quarterback in to sit and learn. The Jets, Steelers, Vikings, Buccaneers, and Dolphins could be landing spots for the former Colorado Buffalo.
