The Cleveland Browns lost on Sunday when they took on the New York Jets on the road in what was left of Hurricane Isaias. It brought rain and wind; it all made for an ugly game for both the Browns and Jets, in which the New York team was able to at least secure a win.
The loss doesn't seem to be just in the standings for the Browns now, as reports come out of it that they saw both running back Quinshon Judkins and linebacker Carson Schqesinger leave in walking boots. Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot was the one to share this information after the game.
On Monday, we didn't have an update on Judkins, but NFL Media's Ian Rapoport shared one on Schwesinger. He posted on social media, saying, "Browns star LB Carson Schwesinger suffered a Grade 1 ankle
sprain in their loss against the Jets, though the injury occurred before his strip sack of Geno Smith, sources say. He is not ruled out for this week, though availability depends on how he responds."
The idea of the Browns' defense losing Schwesinger for any amount of time would be devastating. The team has the Baltimore Ravens next up on the schedule, who are dealing with injuries of their own, but they need him for them and more.
