The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 8 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.

CBS Sports' Mike Renner recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going with a new quarterback in Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss and Houston interior offensive lineman Anthony Boswell. The Cougar lineman is a new name to mock drafts, so it was a bit shocking to see.

Renner explains the Boswell pick, writing, "Boswell's tape as a redshirt freshman last season for

Toledo was outstanding and now he's doing the same thing to Big 12 defensive linemen. He's not a special athlete the way Kade Pieper is, but he's technically sound and extremely consistent. He's only allowed one pressure on 124 pass-blocking snaps this season."

Austin Barber is playing well at guard, but both Elgton Jenkins and Zion Johnson could be replaced over time. They signed deals this summer, but we have seen interior linemen have short lifespans with teams in the NFL.
