The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 8 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.
Athlon Sports' Luke Easterling recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going with a new quarterback in Miami's Darian Mensah. The potential Heisman Trophy frontrunner has more touchdowns (11) than he does incompletions (8) through the first three games of the year.

Watson is still one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL, and the Browns need to make a more significant long-term investment in upgrading the position. Mensah has boosted his draft stock as much as any prospect in this class through the first three weeks of the college football season, showing all the mental and physical traits that could make him a franchise passer at the next level."
With the team's second pick in the draft, they landed Oregon edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei. Both picks could have an immediate impact on the team in 2027.
