The Cleveland Browns are 1-1, but they very much remain a team that is not expected to produce much in the win column in 2026. They are in a rebuild mode, have been for some time, but what we are seeing from this rookie class and other young players has some thinking this team could eventually turn a corner with its corps.
Because of the rookie stepping up, especially at wide receiver, Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox is hinting that it would make sense for the Browns to explore a trade of Jerry Jeudy.
He writes, "Jeudy is still only 27 years old and has a contract that should appeal to 2026 contenders in need of receiver help—he has a base salary of only $1.5 million. Given the injuries we've already seen at the position, Jeudy should have a deadline
market if the Browns are reasonable with their asking price."
He writes that teams like the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs would make sense for someone who could have value in adding him. The return package wouldn't be expected to be much, but at the rate of general manager Andrew Berry is drafting as of late any extra pick is worth the get.
