The Browns, as a franchise, are very proud of everyone who has put on a uniform for them in their history. Ahead of Sunday's Week 3 home opener, three former Browns got the special honor of being named Legends and receiving their jackets in the process.
The three players Brian Brennan, Lou Rymkus, and Alex Mack. All three players left a lasting impact on the Browns, and now they will be remembered forever as Legends of the franchise.
According to the franchise, they explain the program as, "The Legends Program started in 2001 with the automatic induction of the Browns' then Pro Football Hall of Famers along with the initial class of five other inductees. "An eight-person selection panel chooses the players to be honored. To qualify as a Browns Legend,
the players must have played for the team for at least five years, been a major contributor at their respective position and been retired from the NFL for at least five years."

The speeches were all posted to the Browns' social media page with the last being made by Mack who also served as the one who would kickoff Week 3 with the guitar smash. After receiving his jacket, Mack stated, "Thank you so much to the city of Cleveland for everything you mean to me. It is because of this city, this team and this organization that made me the man that I am today. Thank you to the teammates that are here. I could not believe how lucky I am to be here standing today. I am so thankful. I love this city. Go Browns."
