The Cleveland Browns march into Week 7 with an AFC North division lead and momentum behind them again. They are starting a softer stretch of the schedule but remain focused on the task ahead, which is the Tennessee Titans. Despite winning their first game in Week 6, the Titans are better than they have played.
The Browns can win this game, though, if they keep up their defensive aggressiveness and make significant second-half adjustments. Todd Monken and his staff have risen to the occasion in every game, but this could be their first complete game in 2026 if they execute the way they are capable of.
We said this is a poor Titans team, but there is still a game to be played, and we have some bold predictions to share ahead of it.
Jared Verse gets his first sack of the season
This is a wild
thing to think about, but heading into Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans, Jared Verse is without a sack this season. Equally, Myles Garrett has also gone without a sack, but he has been on injured reserve. Fair or unfair, Verse is going to be linked to Garrett, and that means expectations will always be high. The Titans' offensive line is not the best unit, they are going to give up pressures, and it is time for Verse to capitalize on that.
Jerry Jeudy finds the endzone
Jerry Jeudy has seen him get more and more reps and big-time targets since Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In Week 6, he made a pivotal catch-and-run that set up the game-winning field goal by Andre Szmyt. Deshaun Watson and Todd Monken have spoke highly of Jeudy this past week and he seems poised for another boost to his role. In Week 7 against he Titans, he can take advantage of their poor secondary and find the endzone for the first time this season.
Browns secure at least five sacks
Titans quarterback Cam Ward has had a rough start to the season and it has Tennessee sitting with a record of 1-5. He has a tendency to hold onto the ball, be reckless with it, and I think that has the Browns poised to have a big week on the defensive side of the ball. You cannot always count on turnovers, but you can count on Mike Rutenberg being aggressive on defense. One way he will do that is by getting after Ward, and I think that is where the Browns are most productive in the form of securing at least five sacks.
