The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Browns still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 9 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft in a class that many are saying could be one of generational wealth.
While we will always look at mock drafts from analysts around the space, we will also keep up with our Mock Draft Mondays here on Browns Wire.
While this used to be just an exercise used for the Fall to introduce players, the 2027 NFL Draft class is too good to be contained to those select months. Instead, we are going to do them in the summer. As we progress through Summer
Scouting, we'll look at the roster more closely in camp and share our opinions on players fans can watch this upcoming college season.
So with that in mind, let's dive into a 3-Round 2027 NFL Mock Draft for the Browns.
Round 1: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

The quarterback play this past weekend should have fans clamoring for a fresh start with a high-level talent at the position. Playing quarterback for the Browns is no easy task either physically or mentally. In the 2027 class, no one is more equipped to handle both of those than Dante Moore out of Oregon. He has shown to be a precision passer, he can make throws to all levels of the field with accuracy, all while never letting a miss or turnover deter him from the next drive.
Everyone is clamoring for Arch Manning, but Dante Moore is the real prize in this draft.
Round 2: John Henry Daley, Edge, Michigan
The Browns traded away Myles Garrett but got Jared Verse in return. While Verse is a top-tier pass rusher, he has the same need that Garrett had before he was traded: A partner in the pass rush. John Henry Daley is a run stuffer off the edge but also has some decent pass rush chops. What impressed me most from Summer scouting was his motor, and that is where having him opposite Verse could make these two a good duo.
Round 3: Bear Alexander, DL, Oregon

Stopping the run is going to be paramount for any NFL team in 2026. For the Browns, adding someone like Bear Alexander to the mix alongside Mason Graham and others is a good depth piece in round three. He jumped around schools in college but has found his home in Oregon and has shown he can be productive.
